SYNOPSIS
Yvan De Wiel, a private banker from Geneva, is going to an Argentina in the midst of a dictatorship to replace his partner, the object of the most worrying rumours, who disappeared overnight. Between hushed lounges, swimming pools and gardens under surveillance, a remote duel between two bankers who, despite different methods, are the accomplices of a discreet and merciless form of colonization.

TRAILER
Andreas Fontana was born in Switzerland in 1982. After earning a degree in Geneva, he moved to Buenos Aires, where he trained as an assistant director. His short film Cotonov Vanished (2009) won the First Steps Award at the Visions du Réel Festival in Nyon in 2010, as well as Best Short Film at the Festival dei Popoli in Florence the same year.
His most recent film, Pedro M, 1981, was nominated for Best Short Film at the 2016 Swiss Film Awards. In January 2016, Andreas Fontana and Zahra Vargas received the Upcoming Lab Award in Solothurn for the development of a feature-length documentary project titled Nothingwood.
He also works as an assistant and co-writer, collaborating with Zahra Vargas (The End of Homer, 2015, presented at Berlin and Clermont-Ferrand) and Maryam Goormaghtigh (Theft at the Pantheon, 2011). In 2021, he presented his first feature film, Azor, at the Berlinale.
