Borned in Rennes in Brittany, Margot Abascal is both an actress and a film director. Having finished her studies at the Conservatoire of Paris, she went on stage and played in films for television and cinema. She won an award for "Le rocher d'Acapulco" at the Bezier film festival in 1996 and an other one at the Pantin Film Festival for "Nom de code: Sacha" in 2001. "Luna's voice" - produced by Local Films in 2002 - is her first short-film as a director. In 2012, she asserts herself as a director with her second film "Florides" supported by France 2 and the Regional Council of Brittany.
