SYNOPSIS
AMIRA, a 17 years old girl, works as a novice butcher. She tries to tame her desire that she feels for BENJI, a boy from her class.
To test her feelings, she proposes him to come with her and sacrifice a lamb according to Muslim rite.

Born in Lausanne in 1980, Isabelle MAYOR is a film director and programmer. In 2005, after completing a master's degree in sociology and journalism at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland), she began her career as an editor. During the 64th Cannes Film Festival, she won a Beaumarchais SACD grant and was awarded the Jury Mention for creation during the Valences Screenwriters' Festival writing marathon. In 2012, she directed “Stag in Hong Kong”. Programmer for the Rencontres européennes du moyen métrage and the Festival de Brive, Isabelle MAYOR is also a member of ACiD. She was a juror at the 65th Locarno International Film Festival for the short film section (Pardi di domani).
