SYNOPSIS
In the 1930′s an Abbot in French Normandy was publishing a revue which would answer the very practical sexual question of his readers. Using the letters, the film unfolds a portrait of rural France, the ignorance, the fears, the will to be part of the flock and a constant obsession for repressing sexuality.

Blandine Lenoir is both an actress and filmmaker.
As an actress she worked with Gaspard Noé, Solveig Anspach, Fabienne Godet, Erick Zonca and Michael Haneke.
As a filmmaker, she directed seven short film selected and awarded in numerous film festivals among them: “With Marinette” (1999, awarded in Clermont-Ferrand, Brest and Pantin films festivals), “In your Dreams” (2003, awarded at Bordeaux, Aix en Provence, Aigues-Mortes), “Rosa” (2005 awarded at Aix-en-Provence, Clermont-Ferrand and nominated at Lutins of best short film), “My Knickers” (2006), “For Real” (2007), “Dear Abbot” (2010) and “The America of Womankind” in 2014.
“Zouzou”, her first feature film, was released in 2014.
In 2016, she directed “Aurore” with French actress Agnès Jaoui.
“Annie Colère”, her third feature film was released in 2022 and received with critical acclaim. It stars Laure Calamy.
